This app helps you plan trips. This policy explains what it stores, what it reads, and how you stay in control.

Data stored on your device
Trips, events, packing lists, family members, documents, personal details and display preferences are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device.
This data is not uploaded to our servers and is removed when you clear your browser data or use the app's delete actions.
Cookies and local storage
We use only essential browser storage: local storage for your trips and display preferences, and a sign-in cookie/token when you log in. There are no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your consent choice is itself saved on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it, and the notice will appear again.
Account data
If you sign in, our backend (Supabase, hosted in the EU) stores your account identifier and email address so the app can recognize you across sessions.
If you use "Backup to cloud", a copy of your trips, lists, personal details and uploaded documents is stored in a private area that only your account can read. You can delete it, together with your account, from the profile page at any time.
The app itself is served by Cloudflare, which may log IP addresses for security purposes under its own policy.
AI processing
Text and screenshots you add to the trip parser, and the destination name for emergency information, are sent to Google's Gemini API to extract dates, flight numbers and locations. They are processed for that request only and are not stored by us. These features require a signed-in account and are rate-limited per user.
Third-party services
The app calls a public exchange-rate service for currency information and may open Google Maps when you generate a walking route. These requests contain no personal identifiers beyond what you enter.
Hotel links to Booking.com are affiliate links: if you book through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. The link carries your trip destination, dates and number of travelers so Booking can show matching results; it contains no personal identifiers.
Payments
Pro subscriptions are paid through PayPal. Your card or PayPal details go to PayPal only; we receive the subscription id, its status and renewal dates, which we store with your account to know whether Pro is active.
Deleting your data
Delete a trip, document or family member inside the app to remove it from your device. To delete account data, contact us at mylifetripssupport@gmail.com.
